Karen Berger

Karen Berger, co-author of A Woman’s Decision: Breast Care, Treatment, and Reconstruction, is a respected medical writer and publisher who has spent the past 28 years interviewing and surveying women with breast cancer. Karen Berger is also founder, president, and CEO of a medical publishing company that produces award-winning surgical publications for a professional audience.

John Bostwick III, MD

Former Professor and Chairman, Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Maxillofacial Surgery, Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia.

During his career, Dr. Bostwick helped pioneer techniques in breast reconstruction and was one of the foremost breast surgeons and plastic surgeons in the world. Dr. Bostwick is deceased.

Glyn Jones, MD

Professor of Surgery (Plastic), Department of Surgery, University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria, Illinois

Dr. Jones is a talented plastic surgeon who trained with Dr. John Bostwick and was his colleague at Emory University in Atlanta. He is an outstanding surgeon who possesses superb patient communication skills. Dr. Jones received postgraduate training in general and plastic surgery in Rhodesia and Cape Town, South Africa and completed his residency in plastic surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Prior to joining Illinois Plastic Surgery, Dr. Jones was a full-time faculty member at Emory University for over 10 years. With extensive qualifications and experience in all cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, Dr. Jones specializes in facial and body cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction after cancer. Dr. Jones has written and lectured extensively.
